Looking to extend your must-buy list? These are the luxury products you won’t want to miss out on. All of these products can be purchased online – but we wrote this article before the UK lockdown was announced. So while we initially thought you could enjoy these products at home while self-isolating, the sudden lockdown will make this impossible. We’ve decided to still publish the article though to give you some entertaining reads and bookmark for when life has returned to normal.
Alena Rosé by The Norman
The Norman is the only luxury boutique hotel in Tel Aviv and it happens to sit in the heart of the world-famous UNESCO heritage site of historic Bauhaus architecture buildings. The Norman Tel Aviv incorporates antique elements as well as hand-picked textures and materials for a rich design. This spot aims to create a feast for your senses with their stunning rooftop features and citrus garden.
The Norman offers a superb range of dining experiences and drinks for every mood. One rosé that is a must-buy is the Alena rosé, which is assembled exclusively for The Norman Hotel cellar in collaboration with Amphorae winery. This rosé is an elegant, breezy blend, that doesn’t compromise on complexity.
Milroy’s of Soho
Delivering to over 50 countries, Milroy’s of Soho’s online store offers a curated selection of the world’s best whiskies, including Scotch from the Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Islands, Islay, and Campbeltown; Bourbon and rye whiskey from the United States; and a host of other malts from Japan, Sweden, Australia, South Africa, and more!
London’s Original Whisky Specialist, Milroy’s of Soho opened in 1964 as The Milroy’s Soho Wine Market and was instrumental in the introduction of Scottish single malts to the UK market in the 1960s and 1970s. Milroy’s became known for selling the largest selection of whisky in London, even delivering to No. 10 Downing Street. Many of the biggest names in whisky started their careers on the shop floor.
In 2014, Milroy’s of Soho was purchased by Martyn ‘Simo’ Simpson, who was determined to maintain its individuality and heritage. He installed a whisky bar in the shop and reinstated the cellar bar, working with Bar Manager Chris Tanner to create the much-lauded The Vault cocktail bar – famously hidden behind a bookcase.
In 2019, Simo added Milroy’s of Spitalfields to the family, a four-storey townhouse in London’s East End, offering two floors of Private Members Club The Dram House, the ground floor Whisky bar with over 1,000 whiskies, and The Proofing Room cocktail bar in the basement.
